Final grades
Your final grade will be based on your participation in the course and your work on three map projects.

Storyline map | Develop a static thematic map that tells a story about a journey and a place. Document design process with a 500 - 750 word explanation of motivation and design choices. | 40% final grade |
Terrain study | A 1-2 page (tabloid-size) layout that compares layers of shaded relief composition with a 500 word narrative explanation/reflection. | 20% final grade |
